SysInfo^TM 4.1.1 Announcement

MagniComp^TM is pleased to announce the availability of SysInfo^TM version 4.1.1 (FINAL). SysInfo^TM provides highly detailed data on Unix/Linux based systems. System Administrators can use SysInfo^TM to obtain a current view operating system configuration, installed hardware including very low level device attributes, installed software, disk partitioning, and kernel parameters.

SysInfo^TM can provide detailed system data via its GUI, Command Line Interface (CLI) output in human readable format, CLI output in program parsable format, and via C and Perl API's.

SysInfo^TM is available in pre-compiled binary formats. Full source code can also be downloaded and built.

New Features

Version 4.1.1 features numerous bug fixes over version 4.1. We recommend all existing customers upgrade, especially if you are running SysInfo^TM version 4.1.

Bug Fixes

The following is a list of major bug fixes and changes:

• Fix various command line option bugs introduced in version 4.1.
• Improved CD/DVD reporting.
• Improved ATA device data reporting.
• Update list of known Sun hardware.
• Improve CPU identification on X86.
• Fix major bug introduced in version 4.1 on Sun whereby disks and/or tape devices were not reported.
• Documentation fixes.
